Dr. Hart provides chiropractic care for the whole family.

Did you know that Chiropractic is effective for:

Maintaining overall health and wellness

And so much more ... to make sure the body is in proper alignment ...

Other treatments provided by Dr. Hart include:

After careful review Dr. Hart will do a thorough examination and then give a report of findings to tell you what the problem is, what she can do for you, and if necessary refer you to someone that can help you, and then she will set up a course of treatment.

As a chiropractor, Dr. Hart uses her hands to adjust or manipulate the spine by introducing motion into an area that is restricted and not moving; thereby, restoring health, decreasing pain, and getting the body into proper alignment.  Dr. Hart treats the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms.

For older people, young children, or people that want something less forceful, Dr. Hart uses an instrument called the Activator that is very specific, low force, and can accomplish the same result as using her hands.

Dr. Hart uses machines that help aid in giving the patient relief.  These are electrical stimulation and ultrasound along with a hot pack or ice (first 48-72 hours following an acute injury) --- both machines increase blood flow and circulation and promote healing.

A laser light therapy machine is available to reduce pain and spasm and increase circulation and promote healing and is very effective for:  low back, wrists, ankles, shoulders, and plantar fascitis to name a few.

Hand held massagers, chair massage, and mechanical traction are used for relaxation to decrease pain and muscle spasm as well as soft tissue work and massage on trigger points and areas of muscle tightness and spasm to relieve pain.

Dr. Hart’s goal is to break up the spasm and decrease the pain. It is important for the patient to drink plenty of water and flush the system after trigger point therapy.

At the office there is also a decompression machine for people with discs and nerve impingement as an alternative to surgery.

Dr. Hart uses exercise machines, therapeutic swiss balls, therabands, and balance board to strengthen the different parts of the body such as the neck, shoulder, knees, ankles, low back, etc.
